Wildwood Adventure Group

Policies & Tuition

  1. Once you have submitted your registration form and you have received an email confirmation families will have 24 hours to pay their $100 non-refundable deposit. The deposit secures your family's spot at Adventure Group and shows good faith toward honoring our enrollment agreement and contract. Failure to submit your deposit within 24 hours will result in your spot being released and made available for another family. If this happens, we will notify you by email. If you would like to be considered for enrollment again, the process starts over with a new registration form.

  2. Any remaining tuition balance will be due by Monday, Jan 6, 2025. If payment is not received by the due date a late fee will be applied.

  3. Upon email acceptance, and submitting the deposit, families agree to abide by the policies of Wildwood Homeschool Collective Adventure Group. Paper contracts and waivers must be submitted on a family's first day of attendance, however, all policies are agreed upon at the time of enrollment acceptance.

  4. For the best experience, families are enrolled for two consecutive terms, Winter and Spring 2025. Consecutive participation is a cornerstone of our program. We create an important rhythm and each student has the advantage of experiencing consistent time in nature and in a community. When families develop and maintain a consistent and joyful relationship, their time together continues to promote healthy student development. The Outdoor Guide, over time, learns how the group learns best and can help them develop more skills and expand their ability and interests.

  5. Enrollment in each session is for the full session regardless of your family’s attendance, thus we cannot reduce tuition for family holidays, illness, or closures.

  6. Families are expected to come to Adventure Group in good health, without a fever or vomiting for a FULL 24 hours after the last symptom has subsided. Please be mindful of all of everyone’s health.

  7. In the event of injury or illness for the Outdoor Guide, the session will be rescheduled. Families will be notified as early as possible if this occurs.

  8. If the weather becomes dangerous (lightning, high winds in the woods, flash flooding, etc.) we will immediately seek shelter. If the National Weather Service issues a weather warning to stay indoors, when hazardous weather poses an immediate threat to life, we will cancel our meeting for the day and reschedule. If ever this is the case, we will try to notify families by 8 am. Generally speaking, if you don’t hear from us then it’s safe to assume that Adventure Group is ON and we will see you in the open air!

  9. Each family agrees to provide the gear their child will need for comfort and safety. Please review our Recommended Gear list.
